Concept: “ Unleash the Monkey”
Speculative Concept for Howler Head Bourbon
By Room Twenty Two
🍌 The Big Idea
Howler Head isn’t your average bourbon — it’s banana-flavoured, bold as hell, and built to bring the party. So what if we visualised that literally? Enter: Unleash the Monkey — a chaotic, character-filled key visual where bourbon-fuelled mayhem breaks loose at a suburban house party. Flying bananas. DJ dogs. Ceiling-fan-swinging chimps. It’s not just a drink. It’s an outbreak.
🎯 The Creative Concept
The goal was to give Howler Head a world as wild and unhinged as its flavour.
We treated the party like a movie scene at the exact moment things get out of hand — the bottle has been opened, the music’s peaking, and the monkeys have just taken over. It’s not just metaphor — it’s visual escalation.
🧠 The Process: Building the Chaos in Layers
Photoreal AI generation still struggles with complex multi-subject scenes — especially when you ask for monkeys, humans, and dogs to interact realistically. So we built it like a film set:
Base Layer: A warm, lived-in party room — lights, furniture, slight mess.
Humans: Full-body characters reacting mid-scene (shock, laughter, dodging bananas).
Monkeys: Separate renders — one swinging from the ceiling fan, one mid-leap, one pouring bourbon.
Dog DJ: Golden retriever with shades and headphones, behind the decks.
Props & FX: Flying bananas, broken snacks, upturned cups, party lighting.
Bottle Hero Shot: Dropped into the centre, glowing like the epicentre of mayhem.
I created the background, then generated each character — chimpanzees, dog DJ, and human guests — separately using GPT Image, with clean keying done via Bria background remover. The first composite was assembled in Photoshop, then re-prompted in Weavy and refined using Flux Pro 1.1 Ultra to dial in mood and layout. The Howler Head bottle was built using Flux Kontext Max for re-lighting, then retouched to correct shape and details. Final composite, effects, floating bananas, bokeh, optical flares, and type were completed in After Effects.
⚠️ Self-Initiated Concept
This is a speculative, self-initiated piece created to explore a bold visual idea and push the limits of AI-assisted concept development. It was not commissioned or approved by Howler Head or its agency.
